How do I use a Payment Link to pay with cryptocurrency?

1. Select Cryptocurrency: Choose the stablecoin you wish to pay with from the available selection.
2. Confirm Quote: You will see a quote indicating how much of the chosen stablecoin is required to cover the EUR amount. Confirm this quote to lock in the rate.
3. Payment Window: After confirming, you will have 15 minutes to initiate the payment, ensuring the exchange rate is secured.
4. Payment Confirmation: Once payment is initiated, it may take a few minutes to update the payment link status due to the need for blockchain confirmation.

What happens if I pay less than the requested amount (underpayment)?

If the amount you send is below the requested amount, your payment will be canceled and you will need to contact Fipto support at [email protected] for a refund.

What if I send more than the required amount (overpaid)?

In case of overpayment, the transaction will be completed, and the funds corresponding to the requested payment will be sent to your beneficiary, but you will have to contact Fipto support at [email protected] for a refund of the excess amount.

Is there a cost associated to the processing of a refund?

Yes, for each refund we will charge you a 10,00€ flat fee to cover our operational costs and gas fees. To avoid this situation, make sure you complete your payment in time and send the exact amount displayed in your quote. Note that in case of a refund the 10,00€ fee will be directly deducted from the refunded amount.

How can I know my payment was successfully received?

Once you've completed the payment, please allow a short period for the blockchain to confirm the transaction. Following confirmation, the status reflecting the processing of your payment will be updated directly on the payment link page you accessed to make the payment.
