Discover transaction types and their workflows

Here are some definitions for your different transactions and their statuses.

Payin

Payins are incoming transactions that serve to fund and credit your Fipto wallets.

Your Payins can have one of the following statuses:

  • In transit: We are reviewing your transaction. You will receive the credit once the sender's verification process is complete.
  • Completed: The transaction was successful and the funds are currently available on your wallet.

Payout

Payouts are outgoing transactions that serve to send funds to your beneficiaries.

Your Payouts can have one of the following statuses:

  • Submitted: Your payout was successfully created.
  • Insufficient funds: Your current funds are not sufficient to complete this transaction. The transaction will be automatically processed once you have added funds to your source wallet.
  • In process: We’re currently processing your Payout.
  • Awaiting co-signer: This status is only applicable when multi-signatures have been activated for your payout process. It indicates that another user must validate the transaction before it can proceed.
  • Refused: This status is only applicable when multi-signatures have been activated for your payout process. It indicates that one of the co-signers did not validate the transaction.
  • Rejected: This status indicates that the payment could not be processed and the transaction is being declined.
  • Completed: The transaction was successful and the funds are in the recipient’s account.
