The Payer Flow

Once you generate a payment link using Fipto, a dedicated payment page is automatically hosted for you. You can direct your counterparties to this page to facilitate payments securely and efficiently.

Select a currency

Upon accessing the payment page, the payer is prompted to select the currency for the transaction. Options include several stablecoins supported across different networks:

• USDT (Tether) available on both Ethereum and Polygon networks.
• USDC (Circle) available on both Ethereum and Polygon networks.

Validate the quote

After currency selection, the payer will receive a quote showing the amount of stablecoin required to complete the payment. It is crucial for the payer to verify that sufficient funds are available before confirmation. Please note, the quote is only valid for 15 minutes.

Initiate the payment

With the quote confirmed, the payer will have all necessary details to proceed with the payment. Payments can be made directly using self-hosted wallets (e.g., MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby) or through external exchanges (e.g., Binance, Kraken, Coinbase).

Payment status updated

The payment status on the payment page is updated in real-time as the transaction is processed on the blockchain and received by our system. This provides immediate feedback to the payer about the transaction status.

After the transaction is completed, the payment link and its status can also be viewed on your Fipto dashboard, allowing you to manage and track payments effectively.
